Financial Due Diligence

To support the decision-making of M&A deals, professional financial due diligence analyzes a target company’s books, records and other internal reports and documents for financial and business trends. The diligence exercise probes deeply into the quality and sustainability of earnings by examining underlying risks and exploring previous financial performance to determine whether it can reasonably be expected to continue, and to understand how changing circumstances and trends may impact the future of the business.

As a Manager in Transaction Support team, your role includes but is not limited to managing the projects in performing buy-side or sell-side financial due diligence for M&A transactions; analyzing financial/operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management and identifying the accounting impact of potential acquisitions. Also, you will be responsible for coaching seniors and juniors as well as reviewing their works.
With management review, you will provide real-time updates and present draft findings and reports to ensure that the investor is aware of all issues, and to be confident that the final report will meet stakeholder needs.
